I can't believe that I will be in this state or should I say that I never imagined being one. This current time will be included in my "First Time" moments/ memories.
I'm still hopeful and optimistic that there are better things coming my way. I strongly believe in the saying that everything happens for a reason. I'm keeping the faith! It's way too early to loose hope.
For the time being I will just enjoy the time-out and start reflecting, it's been a long time since I've done that.

Yamaha Run for Heroes
My sister and I signed up to this event which will commence on July 3 (Sunday) at Bonifacio GlobalCity. This will be my third time to join fun runs and of course I'm registered at 5k. Originally, we are planning to register for 3k just to try it out and to finish the race early but my sister's colleagues persuaded us to signed up for 5k. Oh well, so much for the plan of finishing early.
I like the color of the singlet
First time I will get a Runner's Certificate =)
Yamaha Run Poster
What's more every participant can win a Yamaha Mio Fino! Cool! I assumed this motorcycle is for raffle otherwise there will be no chance in this world that I will be running for 21k and then coming in at first place. That will be one of my wicked dreams!
Oh, I have to remind my sister about our race kit since she's the one who registered us both online. Let's see if I can improve my race time.

No Coffee
I was told by my husband not to drink one since I told him a story way back in the 90s where I have my very first nervous breakdown. I hope that it will be the last.
But since its cold outside due to the heavy rains I fixed myself one cup of coffee to jump start my day. God thing that my other half is dozing off so he wouldn't know that I cheated. Except if he read this blog which he doesn't do even if it's already bookmarked in my laptop. Am I lucky or what?
Back to the caffeine topic, for those who know me so well (aka close friends and family members) I'm not really a coffee drinker. I stopped drinking one on 2005. Having coffee in my tummy feels weird so I stop. The coffee drinker in our family are my father and my sister (she's younger than me by 2 years). I on the other hand only drink coffee when I'm in the mood (like today). Y'all probably wondering what is my normal fix in the morning. Well, I'm into cereal drink since who knows when. I forgot when I actually started taking it but it's healthy that's why I love it. It's my alternative way from eating oatmeal. I called oatmeal as a "baby food" since it looks like one though I have a stash of 2 packs of flavoured oatmeal. I haven't had the guts to open it. Maybe one of these days I will and I'm going to post my first experience about it. But for now, I'm going back to my coffee that is patiently waiting on our dining table.
Be safe everyone! I hope the rain subsides soon. I'm still hopeful in watching Kung Fu Panda 2 (3D) in Mall of Asia either today or tomorrow. I know what your all thinking....

Toccare Spa Experience
I completely forgot in creating a post about our very first spa experience together (hubby and I). Toccar Spa is a newly opened spa located in Antel Suites in Makati Avenue, Makati City. Antel Suites is like a condo-hotel near A-Venue. Last March 6 (if my memory serves me right) we made a reservation to avail the Cash Cash Pinoy promo which is the Romantic Valentine's Day Couples Package.
Anyways, she presented different aroma bottles in which you will choose the oils you want to be used for your body during the massage and the scent of the room. On our case, I chose lavender while the husband chose vanilla. For the air scent I think we choose lavender (this is the downside of having to wait for a long time to create an entry, I tend to forget things).

After staying in the lounge area for 15 minutes we are back to our respective locker rooms as we will be accompanied by the spa attendants to the restaurant/ cafe where we will be having our "dinner". It will be an early dinner for us since it's only 3 or 4 in the afternoon. We are back to our casual clothes and off we go to the other building.
Granvia Cafe is situated in A. Venue Hotel Suites so from Toccare Spa you will need to go down from Antel Suites and walked your way out and into the A. Venue Hotel Suites. This is the downside of the package in my opinion. Other couples I think managed to have their dinner in the Lounge Area of Toccare Spa but not us.
Upon our arrival, the receptionist will checked the reservation made and then immediately she asked us for a payment of Php 500 for the couples room. Sad to say she didn't bother asking us if we want to avail the couple's room or not though some people who availed this promo was asked but not us.

We were ushered to the male and female shower room where there the lockers and wet area are located. Wet area includes jacuzzi, steam room and shower room. There's also a toilet room in case "nature" calls unexpectedly.
(lockers)
(steam rooms - left and right)
There's a female attendant waiting for me as soon as I entered the female room. She assisted me to the lockers and to the wet area. After putting my things in the locker she gave me a bathrobe and towel that I can use. I took a quick shower then head off to the steam room. I only stayed for 5 minutes because the attendant told me that my husband is waiting for me on the foot spa room. Geeze! There's no consideration on having the time extended considering its Sunday and there's only a few people who were there at the spa. Sad to say I didn't have the chance to try the Jacuzzi and I was looking forward to submerge myself on lukewarm swirling waters.
I hurriedly took a shower (shampooed my hair and soaped my body) so I can join my husband. I was ushered to the foot spa room and there is R waiting (he was watching TV). I was surprised to know that he didn't use the wet area on the male room. He told me that there was not enough time to do it which is true. Lesson learned, don't come at the exact time. Instead come 30 minutes early to maximize the usage of the facilities aka wet area.
(foot spa room)
Moving forward on the foot spa room our feet were submerged to lukewarm water and spa salt (I think) was scrubbed to our feet. If you can see the photo above, there are small sinks with faucets and electrical outlet for each individual. After 20 minutes, we have our foot massages and oh we were given a cold iced tea.
Next we were ushered to the couple's room with a dim lightning. There are two beds on the center of the room. On the side of the room near to the door, there's a bathtub where you can rinse after the massage. The ambiance of the room is very tranquil and I can smell the scent we have chosen on the reception area. I enjoyed the massage that I almost fell asleep. Indeed it was very relaxing and rejuvenating. What makes it more special is the fact that R is with me sharing the experience (cheesy I know, but again this is the first time we had a spa together).
After the massage we are ushered to the Lounge Area where we can watch on LCD TV and sip another drink of iced tea.

looking young and refreshed!
I think it's a squash soup
Squid in Coconut Milk with Pandan Rice for Hubby
Grilled Pork Belly with Java Rice for me
It would have been perfect if we got to use the wet area longer. I can't help but think that the people in the spa are in a hurry for us to get to one place to another and finished the services that came with the deal we purchased. Tsk! Regardless of some flaws I would love to go back to this spa. Hopefully I will get another deal for couples so we can go back and have our revenge in using the wet area. Hahahaha!

Weird
How come I can only see 2 posts on my blog when I typed the URL on Chrome and Firefox browser? I checked the settings on my blog and it is set to display 7 posts. Hmmmm...I'm not sure if this a temporary issue or permanent.
I have checked my blog on a different laptop and it is the same thing. I tinkered the settings on this blog, changing the number of posts to be displayed and nothing happens. Changed it to number of days for the posts to be shown, disabling and enabling - nada! Nothing has change.
Anyone who is a blogger expert?
P.S. Now I can see this post plus the 2 other posts. So there are 3 of them now. What happened to my other June entries?

Booked
I can't wait for September to come. Finally I'll be having an OOT vacation. I really needed a break after prioritizing the "important" expenses and working hard to meet ends. Whew!
Good thing I got a good deal in one groupon site. At least I can go to Coron without breaking my wallet. What's more, I'm going with the husband and my friends. It will be a riot for 3 days and 2 nights that we will be spending in each others company.
I'm done with the reservation of the boutique hotel for our group. I'll just need to finalize everything until Friday then I also got our airfare tickets from Manila-Busuanga and vice versa (for me and hubby). All I need to do is to wait and save for our pocket money ;)

Nars Blush
I've been hearing a lot of good feedback and recommendations about this particular brand for blushes. Out of the blue I have a sudden fascination with eyeshadows and blushes. My dilemma is which shade of blush will suit me?
So I hurriedly rely to Google and it gave me this link NARS Blush Guide for All Skin Tones
I browsed through the page looking at Hollywood celebrities representing different skin tones, I'm decided that I'm somewhat near or similar to the shade of Padma Lakshmi (it's been a joke and most of the people who first saw me thought that I have some Indian blood in me but I'm 100% pure Filipino). Padma represents Olive Skin and for this type of shade, recommended Nars blushes are:

I was thinking of purchasing two different shades of Nars blushes from the suggested shades above...hmmm...Now, I'm having a hard time to decide which two shades will I choose.
