Super Anti-Oxidant

Ever since glutathione made a breakthrough everybody wants to achieve a whiter and youthful skin. I will be a hypocrite if I'm going to deny that I also dreamed of having a fairer skin and yes I also used Glutathione soap and a couple of years back, I also tried taking glutathione capsules. It's effective because my skin became lighter compared to my skin color when I was in college but not that fair like Kristen Stewart...hehehe.

Apart from the wonders of making your skin whiter, glutathione is also dubbed as an antioxidant meaning they act as anti aging agents (similar to penny stocks & free radical) that enhances the immune defense and therefore lower the risk of cancer and infection.

But OXIS which stands for Advancing Oxidative Stress Technology Oxis International, Inc. (http://www.oxis.com), a research development company based in California discovered on what can be the super antioxidant compound ever. L-Ergothioneine (“ERGO”) is naturally occurring, water soluble, amino acid multifaceted antioxidant produced by microbes in the soil and most commonly found in (but not produced by) various species of mushrooms and grapes, meats and dairy products. It is said that humans and most animals typically have low levels of ERGO since the amount of ERGO in the diet is relatively small.

OXIS is developing a highly-purified ERGO which is one of the most potent, multifaceted biological compounds with appreciable antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective and other protective properties. I'm not sure on when it will be available in the market but for this company who developed it they believe that ERGO is valuable for Nutraceutical, Cosmeceutical and Therapeutics judging from its capabilities to protect the body.

To learn more about this breakthrough technology, you can follow Oxis on Twitter and Oxis on facebook.

Yes! Team Edward go!

I'm excited to watch this movie with friends and the husband. The New Moon movie ending is indeed a cliff-hanger. I want more! Ahahaha! I'm sure everyone who read and love the Twilight Saga series will tell the same thing.

Which reminds me, I better made arrangements with my friends if we will be watching it together or it's just me and hubby. Whatever the case maybe all I know is I have to watch this movie on it's first week just like the two movies before it ;)

Water Update

Last Friday we finally had our water supply. The only issues now are the leaks in the toilet of the 2d and 3rd floor bathrooms. Also, the water coming out of the faucet and shower on the ground floor is less compared to the water on the 2nd and 3rd floors. It is really weird.

I will call and send a text message to the on-site engineer in the village tomorrow so he can have the contractors fix it. There are still some flaws in the house that they didn't repair when he promised back then that he will keep the house in tip-top shape prior to our move-in. Tsk!

Apart from that, everything is manageable and good. Now, time for me to hit the snooze button as I have another day of work to finish. I can't wait for Saturday to come! :)

Happy Weekend blogger friends!

Happy 60!!!

Yesterday it was the Feast Day of St. John the Baptist but it happens to be the birthday of my father who is now a senior citizen! :)

I wasn't in our parent's house during that day and I was not able to talk to him to greet him a happy birthday  :(

I just sent a SMS to my brother to extend my greetings to Papa. My plan is to wait for my payday and bring some food for a little post birthday celebration. I wish that he will stop smoking and may God keep him healthy despite his heart problem.

Belated Happy Birthday Papa!
Lessen your being "pasaway", okay? =P
I'll see you this weekend ;)

No Water

Everything is good with regards to our move-in last Monday. The only glitch is the fact that we don't have a water supply. The water provider in the area told us that they will install the meter and fix everything on Friday. I don't know the reason why it's taking too long for them to process our application for the water. Sigh!

Good thing we have a good neighbor who is willing to share their supply of water. Yup, you heard me right, SHARE. We are willing to give them some money in exchange for the water that we will be fetching from their faucets but they decline. Bless them for being so good.
Another thing is the temperature inside the house is a little bit hot. I miss our AC. We have not installed it yet so we are using just the electric fan. I just hope that I can sleep well this time since my head is aching from all the hours I've lost in my sleep time. I even bought myself 5 capsules of Sleepasil just to try it. In really needed my 8 hours sleep but this weekdays will not be those days. I still have to process some papers for the Final Phase of acquiring the house and lot my sister bought. Too tired to think all about it...

We're Moving!

After months of processing the papers and the payments, we are finally moving in to our new home! Well, it's actually my sister's home but we decided to share the monthly amortization and the space since it's a 3-storey property.

I already set a schedule for the service van who will get our things and transfer it over to our niche. We haven't started packing though =P I still need to buy a few storage boxes before we can start packing.

Also, my mother advice me to bring the ff. things when moving - rice grains, rock salt and water. She gave me the instruction that those are the things that I have to bring FIRST when entering our new home. It's for prosperity and abundance.
I will surely miss this place that we rented for two years. I will miss the accessibility and the fact that it's near to everything!

Oh well, it's time that I put my hard-earned money into something that I have always dreamed of. Who knows, in the future I can be able to get a condo unit for investment. All I need is positivity and motivation. Yeah, these dreams are the ones that drive me to work harder.

Apartment for Rent in Makati

Just a short advertisement and who knows, someone out there might be interested. Our days in our current apartment are numbered. Soon we will be leaving this "nest" that we have stayed for 2 years.

For those looking for an apartment to rent in Makati, ours are up for grabs ;)

I'm helping our landlady to look for the future tenants of this apartment. I'll give the description as accurate as I can:
- It's comparable to a studio unit with 2nd floor.
- The 2nd floor serves as the bedroom while the ground floor serves as either a kitchen or a living room.
- It has a bathroom which is located at the back.
- It has no car garage
- It is suitable for single or couples. Call center agents will like this place. If you have a child, this might be a problem...for me 3 it's a little bit crowded.
- It is 15 minutes away from Makati CBD.
- Transportation is jeepney, tricycle and taxi cabs.
- It is near the barangay hall so it is safe. Plus the light posts in the area are always lit up.

Leave me a message if you are interested. Thanks!

Project 365

I've heard this "project" in one of the yahoogroups where I was a member. I was thinking when I should start creating one for myself. Then my birth date comes to my mind. Of course! It will be the best time to start this project when I turned 30 (yeah, we're getting old as days passed).

I still need to read what exactly this project is all about but from my understanding it's like a diary/scrapbook/memorabilia of what happen to me in those 365 days = 1 year.

Hopefully I will not procrastinate. I started to have these lazy bones when I worked in a graveyard shift. Oh well...
