The Result

Hello everyone! Hope your enjoying the weekend. For those who are waiting for the key after reading my post Possibilities, here it is.

Yesterday morning, Hubby and I went to Medical City to get to the bottom of my reproductive health issue and the mystery that happened to me 2 weeks ago.

I was expecting the conclusion of my OB that maybe I was pregnant and I got a spontaneous abortion but I was surprised and this made me think more.

The result of the B-HCG was negative. Meaning I'm not pregnant and that I was never pregnant. As explained by my OB even if I had a miscarriage or abortion, the figures in the B-HCG should have been higher instead of 0.0-0.5.

It was good news for us but the question now is, what is the tissue (mass) that came out of me? Now I feel like kicking myself for being so stupid. I should've listened to my friend who keeps on insisting me to get it from the trash bin and storing it into a container.

My OB said her theory will be that it could probably be the walls on my cervix that shed off due to the vaginal suppository that I was taking for my polyp. I'm not really sure if it's possible or if there's such thing but I'm just lucky that whatever it was it came out on its own and I don't have to undergo any procedure to have it remove.

I'm happy that I didn't have any forms of miscarriage and that no baby/fetus was harmed. My OB advised me to check and monitor my menstruation in case any abnormalities arise.

Now I can rest my mind for the time being. Thank you to my fellow bloggers who take time to read my post and share words of encouragement. I really appreciate it. I have found a new set of friends in you all.

I'm sure you'll be asking on when we will have our own bundle of joy...and the answer is next year Ü

Halloween Express

My high school friend has a daughter and a son whom both are a cuties! The last time I checked with her they are living in West Covina. Through a common friend I learned that she transferred to Thousand Oaks which is named after the many oak trees that graced the area.

Just recently it was named one of Money Magazine's Best Places to Live! I'm sure my friend's daughter will love the place since there is a Ventura County Halloween Store that is nearby that area and judging from the past pictures of Aieza, she surely loves to dress up especially on Halloween! Some of her favorites costumes are of Disney Princesses and Pixy Fairies.

Looking forward for her pictures wearing the costumes she found on the store.

Bonding Time

(the middle character is the one I'm using in the game)

Last week Hubby introduced me in playing Diablo II. At first I was hesitant to play the game since I find it boring (that's what I always thought on Hubby's PC games) but I can't believe that I will actually enjoy the game!

At first Hubby and I are playing together (my laptop and my brother's laptop are hooked up together through network) then Hubby will coach me on what to do and sometimes his the one doing the adjustments if my character on the game gained a level and a new skill.

These past few nights I find myself playing this game on my laptop while Hubby is busy watching me and coaching me...hehehe. He couldn't believe that I genuinely enjoy the game because he knew from the very beginning that I'm not a big fan of his computer games but this one is definitely an exception!

I should buy the Lord of Destruction which is the expansion pack of Diablo II. Hubby on the other hand is waiting for the release of Diablo III.

I still LOATHE DOTA period! Hehehehe....

Home Furnishings

Furnishing a house can get really expensive especially if you want the very best for your dream house, you won't even blink an eye to the price tags that came with those items.

But sometimes you have to be smart and wait for some sales or discounts if you really want to maximize your money without sacrificing the furnishings of your home.

Good thing that there are home furniture depots and warehouses that offers clearance sale or year-end sale for their loyal clients and future clients. Imagine some of them even offer 45-75% discounts! If these kinds of sales coincide with us having our own home, I will definitely check out their bathroom vanities where I can turn it into my own solitude nook.

For sure, Hubby will most likely go to bedroom furniture because he likes our room to be well decorated and organized. Plus since it's on discounted prices, he will surely enjoy checking out the items to put in our room and other rooms.

I already planned of having a patio on our dream home where we can put outdoor couches for us and our guests to relax and enjoy the scenery behind the walls of our home.

I have a lot of things on my mind when it comes to home and home furniture and appliances but first, Hubby and I need to start saving for our dream house and lot!

Willpower

You Have Willpower of Steel

Your personal motto could be "Where there's a will, there's a way."

If you will something, you make it happen - no matter how difficult it is.

You don't back down from commitments, even when you regret making them.

That being said, you are pretty careful about what you commit to!

Is Your Willpower Strong?

This is so ME. If I set myself into something that I want to do I'm going to do it.
A lot of my friends tells me that I'm the type of person who push myself to the limits.

Three

I'm glad to find out that my PR rank went up a notch! I thought I will get stuck at 2 or worst.

My blog is exactly 16 months old and I'm grateful and happy that Mr. G is kind to me...hehehe.

This will help me a lot to have better chances with my "sideline". One of the few things to be happy despite of the truth waiting to be unfold on Saturday.

Will keep you all posted. Whatever is the finding, Hubby and I are ready for it.

Pest Control

We will definitely need to avail a service like the Atlanta Pest Control for the ants and cockroaches that keeps on popping in our laundry area and bathroom regardless of how many times you sprayed an insecticide on their favorite hiding places.

I can't even count how many ants and cockroaches I killed...hehehe. Aside from the surprisingly hot temperature that we have here in Manila despite the fact that it's officially rainy season, cockroaches and especially ants keeps on coming out of their nest. Sometimes even in our bedroom we got unexpected ant bites from nowhere which infuriates hubby the most.

I'm still thinking of ways to diminish the ants and cockroaches on our own. I guess its common scenario for any households to have these visitors every once in awhile. It's just plain irritating they are not the type who will be declared into extinction. Ahahaha! That will be a mystery if that happens. Next pests that will invade our homes when heavy rains started pouring in Manila will be mosquitoes. Luckily for this type of insect they died easily and they are pretty manageable compared to ants and cockroaches.

Oh well, I'm going to try the combination of insecticide spray and ants chalk if that will do the trick. I know hubby stored a few ant chalks for future use. Thank goodness we don't have humongous rats running around at our home!

Wordless Wednesday: China

Possibilities

So sorry if I was not able to post anything yesterday since I was busy catching up with my workload. Now I have a free time, here's the whole story of my frequent visits to an OB....

I know your all wondering what exactly is happening to me the past few days and why I have been in and out of Medical City.

As you all remember I was diagnosed with a cervical polyp last March 31st. It's not a tumor or a cyst. My OB told me that it measures 1cm and there's nothing for me to worry about. I've taken the medication needed for my polyps and if in case that the polyps still caused me to bleed after contact then she will just have to remove it either through cauterization or laser (if I remember correctly what she told me before). Then she advised me to go back to her after 6 months for a pap smear.

Last Thursday (May 21), it was my 2nd day of menstrual cycle. I was on my way to the restroom to change pads and to brush my teeth then suddenly I feel something came out of me. I was thinking it could be a blood clot which sometimes happens during my period but I have a gut feeling that it could be something else since I felt that it's bigger and more solid compared to a blood clot.

I hurriedly brush my teeth and went to a cubicle to investigate. To my surprise I found a tissue as big as a ten-peso coin (or a bit bigger) that is on my pad! It's not a blood clot since the color is different. It's purplish with flesh like color and tiny veins visible if you looked it closely. I didn't touched it and was debating if I have to pick it and store it in a container so I can bring it to my OB or if I just have to let it go with the pad in a trash bin. I opted for the second option but before I completely put it on a trash bin, I decided to take pictures of it instead so I can just show the photos to my OB instead of describing it verbally.

Off I went last May 22 to Medical City to tell my OB what happened on the rest room. When I showed her the photos, she was surprised and even told me that it looks like a placenta but she can't be sure. I on the other hand was mystified that how come it can be a placenta when I have my monthly period since the start of the year. Plus, Since March 31 I don't have any contact as per OB's advised because of my polyp’s medication.

That's when she asked me to take TVU/TVS to check if there's any mass that remains inside my uterus. After getting the result of the test (after waiting for 2 hours) it says on the paper that I had a fluid in the posterior culdesac and thickened endometrium. Uterus and ovaries are normal and that there's not any mass or cyst found inside of me. This happened last Monday afternoon.

Yesterday morning, Hubby and I went to the OB to present the result of TVU/TVS. Since my uterus is clean, she decided for me to take the B-HCG test in order for us to know if I did get pregnant over the past months (starting February). I posted about "false alarm" on my blog thinking I was pregnant on that month but then I got my period before February ends. The OB told me that it is possible that the "period" I had back then maybe in fact a bleeding or miscarriage. It's weird that I didn't feel any "strange" pain. I thought I was just having a normal menstruation.

So the truth about the tissue or mass that I found lies on the result of the B-HCG. I was told by the nurse yesterday that I can get the result today at 4pm but since I can't afford to take another half day, I will get the result on Saturday instead.

So there are a lot of possibilities presented to us by these events... but what if the conclusion of the OB which is the "Spontaneous Abortion" is not supported by the result of the B-HCG then what is the tissue (mass) that came out of me?

All About Beads

Lots of people are trying their hands on being crafts in order to put up a business. Some even had trainings for balloon arts, polymer clays and of course beads in order to sell the products that they created. With the help of the different seminars and workshops they attended, it helped them expand their knowledge on the crafts they've chosen and hot to succeed.

I've been to a lot of multiply sites and I might say I'm amaze on how people who's really into crafting can make good use of the simplest things and turn it into a fabulous product.

I bet this kind of accessory will be an inspiration for the entrepreneurs who are into beaded arts and crafts. The company sells Lanyards which is commonly known as "hangers" where you can use for your ID badges, eyeglasses, keys, etc. It's like a necklace with a hook or loop at the end where you can attach whatever things you wanted to put for safe keeping. What's good about them is that they offer a one year guarantee for the item that you purchase though the price of the item is less than US$20.

If I'm not mistaken, their pride and joy are the Beaded Lanyards which comes into different variation. They have everyday lanyards which is perfect for IDs and mobile phones. They have designer lanyards, sports lanyards and even novelty lanyards depending on the event or occasion that you'll be planning to wear the accessory.

They even customize lanyard as a Fundraising Jewelry. Example was a lanyard for the breast cancer awareness that I think they made for different organizations.

A lanyard will be a good idea for those looking for souvenirs or gifts for weddings, birthdays or social events. It's one of a kind plus it has a purpose that is definitely worth for keeps.

10 Celebrities You're Tired Of

For this week's Ten on Tuesday it's all about celebrities that you think you had enough of their faces and news about them.

1. Paris Hilton - Yeah she's the heiress of the Hilton Hotels and definitely rich but compared to the other socialites, she will look like a trash right next to them because of the scandals she had.
2. Lindsay Lohan - I like her way way back during the Parent Trap movie but now... I just feel sorry for her.
3. Samantha Ronson - Obviously her name will be link to Lindsay Lohan which I think had enough exposure on the entertainment news for their on and off relationship.
4. Octo Mom - I think she just wants an exposure plus she gets an income from all the publicity.
5. Hayden Kho - his a Manila celebrity who happens to be a doctor and currently facing sex video scandals with different women.
6. Miley Cyrus - sorry for the fans of Hannah Montana. I just don't like her for no apparent reason. I like Taylor Swift much much!
7. Jonas Brothers - I'm not a fan of them. Not sure why.
8. Madonna - I like her during her younger years but not this time.
9. ?
10. ?

Can't think of other two to put on my list....

Halfday

I'm trying to accomplish the two job requirements from my recruiters. As much as possible I want to give them some profiles for them to work on when they report for work later.

I'm set to have my TVU later this afternoon in Medical City. Have to wait for 2 hours for the result and tomorrow I will meet my OB in her office to analyze the result of the ultrasound.

I will spill the beans soon of what happened last Thursday thus causing for an impromptu checkup last Friday and requiring me to take a half-day work for today and tomorrow.

For now, I have to finish the reks of my US recruiters before I made a dash out to the door.

Putting a Business?

Before my sister went to China she was asking me on what business will generate an income regardless of the ongoing financial crisis. I told her about franchising food carts or putting up a laundry business. Not sure if she will pursue any of these business opportunities but if ever, I'm sure she will apply for a Small Business Loans once she returned in Manila.

Updating

I'm on an internet cafe and will probably stay here for 2-3 hours. It's been awhile since I've checked my Facebook account. Gad! I missed a lot.

Good thing hubby is sleeping at home and even if he wakes up, I've already cooked his lunch...err...dinner.

Yesterday I spoke to our recruitment manager. It seems that my one hour extra work will happen sooner than as planned. Instead of June, I will start on Wednesday.

Have to sacrifice every now and then...

Negative

I was happy to know that Hubby is cleared for any traces of kidney stone. Just today we got his ultrasound result and last week was his urinalysis. All of them says normal and that his negative for suspected Neprolithiasis. Good thing his health is back to normal as it was before.

Happy Weekend everyone! Ü

(P.S. I, on the other hand have some medical issues specifically in my reproductive organ(s) that needed attention. Hope it's nothing too serious).

Paints

It's been awhile since I purchased a Real Living magazine. I like browsing through the glossy pages with different home decorating ideas and do-it-yourself interior projects. That's why even in cable channels I find myself enjoying the shows such as "Look Who's Come to Decorate" or "Top Design" and the likes.

In one episode in Look Who's Come to Decorate, I've seen a trick on how you can decorate a room like a pro. The person who's in charge in interior decorating just used a sponge and a template to blot a whale design on the wall. They don't need an Atlanta Painter to do the job for them since they can handle it just fine. On Top Design, the winner was good in making crafty and original conversational pieces. He even made a chandelier out of paper plates. It's really pretty against a light bulb. No wonder the judges made a decision for him to be the winner.

For not a pro like them, hiring a painter will be the best option especially if you're not comfortable doing it on your own (like me...hehehe). Surely, I will consider this idea when it's our time to have our own sweet home. I'm not sure if painters can do murals on walls.

It's here

Early this morning while I'm preparing to go to Medical City for an impromptu checkup (I'll tell the story about it next week after my TVU result), I was watching the morning news and I was surprised to see that H1N1 is already here in Philippines. One reported case of a 10-yr old girl who came from USA and Canada was diagnosed with the flu.

No medical facility was mentioned (I guess to avoid panic). DOH said that they are prepared for the treatment of H1N1 regardless they advice the public to observe cleanliness and proper hygiene plus eating nutritious foods.

No wonder when I was in Medical City together with Hubby, I saw a family all wearing masks for protection.

Next Wednesday, we will be having a Flu Vaccination here in our office. I enlisted Hubby to have a vaccine as well. I just have to pay Php 380 (salary deduction) since dependents of the employees will not be shouldered by the company.

I just hope that DOH can contain the H1N1 flu. School season will start in a few weeks and it's very risky especially for students if the flu will spread like a wildfire.

Free!

Most likely that will be the case for our water consumption this month after talking to our landlady early this morning.

Normally water bill comes first before the electricity bill but for this month, we didn't get any water bill. I was thinking a few days back that maybe we didn't see it on our doorway (the landlady just insert the bills under our door) or we could have misplaced it (which is totally impossible if we didn't see it in the first place).

Recalling my conversation with our landlady she explained to me that the water pipes and meters of the tenants have been replaced with a new one. Told me that the meter was reset and we will get a bill on the next month. Does it mean that the meter reading for this month was gone? Erased? Cannot be traced? I didn't ask our landlady those questions, not that I'm complaining. As a matter of fact everything is cool with me. New pipes, new meters and no water dues for this month.

Consulting Services

Working on an IT industry especially in recruitment has its perks. One of them was I gained knowledge and familiarized myself with the different technologies and skills known to programmers and techie people. So event though I'm not a programmer, I'm still in the loop on what's in and what's not when it comes to IT ;)

Working with different job orders and submitting profiles for approval means a lot of files needed to be organized. That's why our company seeks a reliable and efficient Database Services for organizing those files. Of course the conditions and requirements given by our company will be the guide for the consulting company whom we seek the service to start the Database Development that will serve its purpose in managing the files not to mention making the database user-friendly.

I'm not sure if the consulting company will use a Filemaker Pro for the database development but it will depend if our company used this before. If it does, then it will be easy for them to add some plug-ins to enhance the database and apart from that Filemaker Pro offers an e-commerce hosting. Well, I'm not exactly sure if we will need an e-commerce website since our company doesn't have any products to sell except for technical services.

American Idol Season 8

...winner is KRIS ALLEN!

If hubby found out about this he will be ecstatic and shower me with a lot of teasing...hehehe.

Oh well, guess Kris have a lot of girls swooning for him from his performance last night. Anyways he can play the piano and guitar so I say his got a lot more to offer than singing (hopefully).

Anyway, being second best is not bad. I'm sure Adam Lambert will have recording offers as well as Kris Allen (example is David Archuleta and David Cook).

Congratulations to Kris Allen and I wish him luck in the future! Ü

Relief

When I got home yesterday, Hubby automatically asked me if I saw our electricity bill. I told him that I haven't since I didn't see any paper that resembles to a bill on top of our dining table. I asked him how much is our due and he asked me to guess. My first guess is 1.5k and he moved his head side to side meaning I was wrong. Second guess is 2k and he just smiled mischievously

To spare myself from more anxiety I decided to go downstairs and looked for the bill (I should have done this in the first place than playing the guessing game). And lo! The dues for this month is lower compared to last month! Yehey! Good thing that we don't use our AC as often as before. It's the main culprit to our sky rocket dues last month but what can we do, it's summer and the temperature is so hot back then.

Now I have extra cash for additional grocery items

Rain Proof

In just a few days the month of June is finally here and it only means one thing, rainy season is just around the corner.

I watched the news last week and according to our national weather bureau, summer is finally over. To end the season, two storms visited our country leaving wrecked homes and fatalities on the southern portion of Luzon (Bicol region to be exact). Obviously, that won't be the last storm that will visit Philippines this year. That's why some Filipinos take the time to fix their homes during summer in preparation for the wet season which starts from June till October. Since not all of them can afford a service of a Harrisburg Roofer, most of them will rely on their own workmanship to make sure that their homes are water proof for the coming typhoons in the next few months. Aside from that, the roofs should also be wind proof because more often than not a lot of them got carried amidst the weather turmoil.

Have to remind my aunt about the ceiling and roof that she have to fix at her house in Cavite. I think that should be included in her priority list once she arrived here in June.

Why Go to Church?

Got this email from my sister and thought of sharing this to you all :)

If you're spiritually alive, you're going to love this! If you're spiritually dead, you won't want to read it. If you're spiritually curious, there is still hope!

Why Go To Church?

A Church goer wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper and complained that it made no sense to go to church every Sunday. "I've gone for 30 years now," he wrote, "and in that time I have heard something like 3,000 sermons. But for the life of me, I can't remember a single one of them. So, I think I'm wasting my time and the pastors are wasting theirs by giving sermons at all."

This started a real controversy in the "Letters to the Editor" column, much to the delight of the editor. It went on for weeks until someone wrote this clincher:

"I've been married for 30 years now. In that time my wife has cooked some 32,000 meals. But, for the life of me, I cannot recall the entire menu for a single one of those meals But I do know this.. They all nourished me and gave me the strength I needed to do my work. If my wife had not given me these meals, I would be physically dead today. Likewise, if I had not gone to church for nourishment, I would be spiritually dead today!"

When you are DOWN to nothing... God is UP to something! Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible and receives the impossible! Thank God for our physical AND our spiritual nourishment!

Electrical Issues

Last night I went into bed early (that is around 8:30pm) since I'm so sleepy and tired of doing our groceries. About 10pm at night I was suddenly awakened because I feel cold. I'm thinking that I was having chills but the only source of the air in our room is an electric fan. Then suddenly the electricity went off. No lights and no fans. It's weird that it's not even raining and I can hear the people outside enjoying the moment of complete brownout.

Good thing that after a few minutes the electricity came back on. Thanks to the competent local electricians like the Madison Electrician that my friend in the US used to tell me. One of the advantages living in Makati especially if you're near the Barangay Hall is that you can rest assured that there's always an immediate action when there's a problem within the community.

Speaking of electricity, I just hope that our dues for this month will be lower compared last month. We seldom use our AC unit. Most of the time, we depend on our fan to cool down our room. I'm crossing my fingers that the electric company has been true to their words of charging lower rates.

10 Favorite Cities

This week's Ten on Tuesday, it's all about your favorite cities! Be it local or around the globe.

1. Manila - there's no place like home ;)
2. Paris - the romantic city which is a perfect honeymoon getaway. Sigh!
3. Hongkong - a shopping haven in Asia
4. Rome - love the arts and architecture within the city plus I'm a Catholic so I really want to have a chance in the future to visit this place.
5. New York - the city that never sleeps.
6. Los Angeles - Hollywood celebs trot around this city. Perfect for "star-gazing"...hehehe. It would be nice to be a studio audience of Ellen show and have a freebies for that day.
7. Miami - it's always summer here plus the beach is always ready for you to take a splash on.
8. London - Because of the Royal Family! Hehehehe.
9. Budapest - I saw a part of this when I was watching The Amazing Race Asia 2. It was a beautiful city.
10. Prague - Apart from Paris, this is also considered a romantic place for falling in love....hehehe Moreover, it has a lot of tourist sceneries to boot.

My Kind of Scent

My preferred scent during day time is either a flowery or fruity scent. That's why most of my friends that are out of the country gave me a Victoria's Secret and I still have two bottles that I need to use

For a perfume, I chose a scent that is not overpowering that makes you dizzy when you sniff the scent. My favorites are Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden and Ralph Lauren Romance (which I used as my evening perfume).Last December 2007, my aunt gave me a Giorgio Armani perfume which at first has a strong scent when sprayed but afterward it turns into a powdery scent makes you smell like a baby! Not my favorite but I used it alternately with RL Romance when going out at night.

I wonder what will be the next perfume (Christmas present) that I will receive for this year?....V

Viva Italia

One of my ultimate dream tourist destinations is none other than Italy (aside from Paris, France) because Rome is there and being a Catholic it will be a spiritual experience to visit the place where the Holy Pope is residing. I'm not exactly sure what is prêt immobilier or the mutuelle pas cher? Have to brush up my Italian vocabularies if in the future I will be able to visit this country. Or I can start learning a few basic words via the internet just to give me an assurance that I can carry a basic conversation with Italians.

Friday Fill-ins: Spring

1. If we had no winter penquins and polar bear will perish.

2. Spring is a perpetual astonishment.

3. If I had my life to live over a century.

4. I'll be working inside of four and twenty hours.

5. If you've never been thrilled by the sudden change of weather.

6. To be interested in the changing seasons is appreciating nature.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to sleep longer, tomorrow my plans include visiting my mother and Sunday, I want to relax!

1 hour more

Sigh! A few hours ago, our recruitment manager give me a heads-up that my 'productivity' hours are below the required figure given by the US office. All employees that are billable must follow this guideline otherwise we will be sent to AIP (Associate Improvement Plan). This reminds me of the time where I was in a call center that we have a "Resolution Bay" for those agents that needs improvement with their skills.

Turns out that the required average of hours from me (and 0ther billable employees) are 150 hours. So far my average working hours is at 146 point something. Good thing I don't have any plans to go on leave this month. On the other hand, I will be having a VL next month for 2 days for our trip in Boracay. So my recruitment manager and I started calculating how many hours will be my average if I will be on leave for 2 days on June plus the Independence Day holiday. Ta-da! Average working hours is at 149.68...hehehe. I jokingly told our manager if we can contest my figure to the US office and round it off to nearest tens...ahahaha!

Anyways just to make sure that I will be able to meet the 150 hours (and to spare myself for rendering the AIP). So I made a suggestion to our manager if I can just render an additional one hour everyday. She told me that its a good idea and surely I can meet the target figure but she have to ask permission first to the Operations Manager for approval. After all what's the use of one hour work if you don't have anything to work on.

Oh well, I'd rather spent one more hour at work than going on an improvement plan as if I have a bad attitude or something. It's not my fault that there are a lot of holidays in Manila.

Direct TV with Kaptain Satellite

I have posted before about DirecTV which is becoming popular in the US. Who wouldn't want to avail this kind of service? This is the next generation of viewing pleasure right inside your own homes.

So far I haven't heard this type of service here in Manila but hopefully they will have a local provider just like the Kaptain Satellite in the US that offers the best deals for Directtv by offering free Satellite TV for each successful subscription! The good thing of having a satellite TV is that the reception is far better compared to a cable TV. What's more every show you will be watching on the comfort of your home will be in high-definition digital quality! I'm sure a lot of guys will want to avail this kind of TV subscription especially when they are watching their favorite games. Thanks to direct tv for this kind of technology.

Face-off

I was looking since early this morning for the result of yesterday's performance of the Top 3 American Idol Season 8.

Last night Hubby is already telling me that Adam Lambert (which is my bet) will be eliminated and that got me nervous. I have a feeling that it will be Danny Gokey who will say goodbye eventually and I was right! So happy when I read the news just about now (no offense to Danny's fans).

Hubby's bet Kris Allen and my bet, Adam Lambert will have a showdown next week! This is gonna be interesting.

Who will be the next American Idol?

Turbocharge

I was not able to watch the Fast and the Furious 4. It's been a month since it was shown in the cinemas here. Though I don't have a car of my own, I love playing car racing arcade games like Daytona and Need for Speed. If it's a real car and I have one of those, I'm going to get a supercharger to make it run fast. It will be cool to drive a car with such speed especially on a road trip.

Due to my curiousness, I've found a supplier on the web that sells pontiac supercharger, buick supercharger and mercedes supercharger. They offer competitive prices for the chargers without sacrificing the quality of their services. Upgrading an automotive can be very expensive so it will be a relief if you found a supplier that offers the best of both worlds.

Hubby's Bet on AI 8

Since my other bet which is Alison bade farewell last week to AI stage, three guys remain for the title of becoming the American Idol for Season 8. I still have my other bet, Adam Lambert on the running but Hubby told me that there's a possibility that he can't make it for the final two?!

His explanation was very simple, a lot of females are voting their hearts out for Kris Allen and Danny Gokey (which is a true fact) that threatens the chance of Adam getting into the 2 final spot.
Obviously, Hubby is leaning to Kris Allen or Danny Gokey to be the next AI.

Birth of Blogging

Who would've thought that originally, a blog is meant for business purposes? I for one wouldn't know that. Thanks to the blogging history article that I read I now know the very reason for the existence of blogging. BLOG was used as a marketing tool of companies which voices out opinions and truths about the products that a company is selling. It's the cheapest alternative way for them to gather information, build relationships and managing the knowledge needed by the people on your organization.

Moreover, this information can be very helpful for the newbie bloggers like my friend and husband who both are planning to start their own blog. Aside from the in-depth explanation on how blog came to be as it is, they also provided the basic terminologies frequently used in blogging.

Nowadays, not only big companies enjoy the features and benefits of having a blog. Everyone including a person who has no job or a stay-at-home-mom can use the blog to its fullest potential whatever the intention it may serve them.

Blogging have revolutionized not only the way companies communicate and help them in their business but also on how people interact and build relationship with one another online. I guess we owe all of this to the person who first created a blog and saw its potential.

10 Favorite Places to Shop

For this week's Ten on Tuesday, it's time for sharing your favorite places to shop! 1. SM Malls (convenient and affordable wise since they are everywhere. Love doing my groceries here)

2.
Glorietta (wide selection of stores for all ages plus it's 30 mins away from our place)

3.
Landmark (A good place to buy personal hygiene stuff, makeup, fragrances, etc at a lower cost).

4. Multiply (Well it is considered as an online place to shop. You'll be surprised of the items that you will find. You'll just have to be careful in dealing with the sellers to avoid being scam).

5.
Ebay (Yup! A lot of good stuff here as well. Sometimes they offer it in a lowest prize ever and all you have to do is bid. Some items have the "buy it now" option. Be sure to check the ratings of the sellers for reference).

6
.
Shopwise Makati (Most of the time we do our groceries here since it's walking distance from our home).

7
.
Tipid PC (It's an online Philippines store for the techies - laptops, desktops, software, hardware, etc. Items are affordable).

8. Tipid CP (It's like a sister company of #7. The difference is that they sell mobile phones, storage cards, game consoles, etc).

9
.
Rustan's (For the expensive and branded stuff. The good thing about them is that you can be sure that the items they are selling is authentic thus it comes with a hefty price tag. So if your a budget conscious gal like me, just wait patiently for their sale).

10.
Divisoria! (If your not that brand conscious, this is the best place for you. The place is considered the haven shopping place for those who have limited budget and I can't blame them. They have everything that you need in an unbelievable mark down price. You just have to be very careful with your belongings and dress casually. Oh, if your claustrophobic forget the idea of going here).
