Side Effects of Botox

Any medicine and medical treatment has pros and cons. It's a fact and I've seen it too many times.

Though Botox promised a wrinkle-free face and a youthful looking skin it's better to be aware of the possible side effects before availing this cosmetic treatment.

For instance, pregnant women and breastfeeding individuals should not get Botox as it may affect the fetus and the baby due to the chemical components injected in your body. Aside from that, some people may have allergic reactions to the Botox or may cause chemical reaction to any medication or herbal supplement that a person is taking.

Just now, I read that aside from the obvious consequences of having a Botox other consequences depending on one's physical fitness are chills, flu symptoms, fever, bruises, dry mouth, sore throat, fatigue and panic attacks. That's why it's always a must to seek a physician instead of relying to the positive feedbacks you read online.

For more additional information about the usage of Botox and its possible side effects, you can always check medical articles and cosmetic clinic websites. Make sure to be open-minded and of course, seek a professional cosmetic surgeon to do the procedure. Although Botox solutions are easy to find it's not advisable to do a self-medication.

Thank goodness I don't have to get myself a Botox treatment. I won't need it anyway.
