On Drugs

The controversy surrounding the Alabang Boys case is so huge. It's not a surprised since the suspects came from a well-known family aside from the fact that they are rich. I'm not exactly sure the state of this issue since the last time I heard in the news, there's a conspiracy on PDEA's end about setting-up the Alabang boys on drugs.

The advantage of this case was it opened the eyes of the politicians and common citizens to drugs awareness. Some congressmen wanted back the death penalty for drug pushers (and users) to strengthen the campaign against drugs.

Aside from the death penalty, how about putting up a private drug rehab just like the ones in the States for those drug users like the Alabang boys and others? I'm sure their family will have no objections with that and they will be at ease to know that their loved ones are in good hands.
