XOXO

Hugs and Kisses >> It always reminds me of the TV hit series Gossip Girl . After all that's Gossip Girl's farewell trademark whenever she spilled some juicy gossip on her blog about the elite families in the Upper East Side.

I just finished watching episodes 1-10 over the weekend in a DVD and I'm on the lookout for the remaining episodes for Season 1...

Holy Smoke! While I'm making this blog entry, I found a website that has the episodes of Gossip Girl! Yipee!

It's time to watch episode 11....

Household Chores

I forgot to answer last week the Thursday Qs in N@Wie yahoogroups. So before the month of June ends, I will post my answers concerning household chores and management =)

1. What is the one household chore that you/your hubby love/s to do?Why?
I like to do the laundry compared to ironing clothes since I find it much easier to do....hehehe. Hubby on the other hand loves to wash the dishes since I'm the one whose in charge of cooking. Also, he doesn't know how to cook so he will stick to cleaning the dishes and utensils that I used instead.
We both like to do grocery since it's a form of shopping without feeling guilty...ahahaha!

2. What is that one household chore that you/your hubby hate/s to do?Why?
For me, I don't like to ironed clothes because it's a HOT chore to do! For hubby, it's ironing the clothes as well and cooking...hehehe.

3. What is the best thing about Home/Household Management that you learned from your parents that you are currently applying to your own family life now?
We don't have kids yet but it's good to practice helping each other doing the household chores and in the future when I have a kids of my own, I will teach them to do household chores little by little. I don't like lazy people so I don't want my kids to be like that.

4. Share with N@W one tried and tested easy-to-prepare recipe that youor your cook prepares which is considered to be a family favorite.

I got this from
Del Monte Kitchenomics recipe and it's really easy and budget friendly:

HOTDOG CASSEROLE:

1/4 kg regular hotdog, cut into 1/2” diagonal slices
1pc large onion, sliced
1pouch (200 g)
DEL MONTE Sweet Spicy Tomato Sauce
1/2 cup whole corn kernels
100 g Baguio beans, sliced diagonally

HERE'S HOW:
1. SAUTÉ hotdog and onion in 2 tbsp oil. Add DEL MONTE Tomato Sauce, 1/2 tsp iodized fine salt (or 1/2 tbsp iodized rock salt) and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.
2. ADD 1/4 cup water, corn and Baguio beans. Cook until vegetables are tender.

Pacman Did It Again

Yesterday, everyone in Manila celebrated to Manny Pacquiao's victory over David Diaz. Our People's Champ defeated the former WBC Lightweight Champion in Round 9 by TKO making him the new champion.

I was not attentively watching the television yesterday since I was busy playing Dairy Dash in the laptop...hehehe. All I know is that David Diaz had swollen face and in a few rounds, there are blood streaming down from his right eyebrow. In fairness to Diaz, he managed to stand until the 9th round despite of the blows coming from Manny.

For the record, Manny is the very first Asian boxer who won 4 championship belts from different divisions plus he was the number one pound-for-pound fighter in the world.

His deifinitely one Filipino athlete that we should be proud of!

Australia

Every time I heard this country(continent), I always think of my grandmother's sister together with their whole clan. On the late 80's one by one they migrated to Aussie and decided to stay there for good. My mother's cousin which happens to be my godmother is also there. The last time I saw her was in 1985 (or 1986).

Today, it's tough to apply for a migration in Australia unlike before. So many requirements that you need to accomplish. My aunt whose my mother's sister considered to migrate here through finding a job. She didn't continue to pursue it and decided to try for a different country instead.

When I was in highschool, I was thinking if maybe one of our relatives can help us migrate to Aussie or maybe asked us to visit them. I know that my godmother is in Victoria, I'm not sure about her siblings and parents on where they reside. If I had a chance to visit her, I could probably stay in one of
Melbourne Hotels since it's the city neareast to Victoria.

Then I could go to the famous Opera House and book myself in one of
Sydney Hotels. After which I can have my picture taken in the Story Bridge and Kangaroo Point Cliffs so better make a reservation in any of the Brisbane Hotels. If in case I want to go to the Western part of Australia to see the Perth Cultural Center and stroll down to Kings Park I could definitely used some informations on the Perth Hotels.

My imagination is running away ahead of me But who knows, maybe they could all come true in the future

Job Hunter

I've been busy this morning checking up my Hubby's email. I'm scanning through the job alerts from jobstreet and jobdsdb in his mailbox. There might be a job ad there that I can apply my Hubby.

His planning to resign next week from his current job (after being absent for a month and 1 week). At home, his busy making drawings for the application of a Designer Staff post in Bahrain through the help of my aunt whose already there. Every once in awhile, he will play DOTA on the laptop that he borrowed from his brother.

Me, I'm the type of an individual who make sures that there's a plan B and Plan C if Plan A failed. So that's what I've been doing every morning when I get to work. I'm insuring to have back-up plans and maximizing my spare time as well since I'm doing this stuff during work. Talk about, multi-tasking. Apart from that, I also need to write down a few opps in my blog. Whew!

A few weeks back I was actually thinking of leaving Hubby just to teach him a lesson on how to prioritize his time and money. But it made me think that if I leave him, surely nothing will happen in his life. I'm the workaholic, hard-worker, more responsible and mature between us. I'm the one who advise and give him a boost to look for other jobs and finished the drawings. In short, I'm his Guardian Angel. So I decided to stick around to support and guide him.

I'll just have to think of a different way(s) in teaching him about Priorities.

Coffee Break Ver 1.24

This week's coffee break made me giddy all inside. It's all about the World Wide Web or as we call the INTERNET. Let me share a few things on how this technology made a HUGE impact in my life...

How has the internet made wonders to your social life?

#1 >> I for myself don't believe in finding a partner for life through the net. For me it seems like a desperate gesture for those wanting companionship (sorry about that but that's my perception before). But lo! I came to know my hubby-to-be through it! Still kinda weird to me when I think about those days that we were chatting M-F from 11am-12nn. We bump into each other in Global Pinoy chatromm then we exchange YM IDs and the rest is history (for further detailed story, you can check it on our wedding website. If I was not surfing on the net at that time, I'll probably be single and working my butt abroad.

#2 >> I get in touch with my grade school, highschool and college classmates! Eevn though were all so busy with our own personal lives, they still remember the yester years that we shared. Some are married and some are single. Others are working abroad and keeping in touch through the net. Thanks to emails, friendster and YM

#3 >> I got to talk to my brother and sister almost everyday apart from using the mobile phone. So eventhough I don't make a frequent visit to my parent's house, I still got an update on what's going on with each one of them (it's in my system to know everything thet they do, guess that's what the eldest do...hehehe)

#4 >> I found new friends through yahoogroups, friendster, multiply and blogs. Though you don't know each other (and see each other) that much, it's good to know that some people are there to listen/read to your talks and rants.
# 5 >> Extra income money opportunities!

Though the internet has some downside (viruses, spywares, etc.) one thing is for sure, it became a part of our everyday lives that is hard to get rid off.

Graphing Calculators

The last time I used a scientific calculator was in college. I need to used it for our Trigonometry class that time. For me, that was my favorite math subject ever! During those times, the brand Casio was very popular among the students. I even asked my aunt to brought me one...hehehe.

Today, there are lots of calculators out in the market. Probably the ones we have used before are outdated compared to the ones that we have now. I've just seen a website where they featured a wide variety of calculators. One thing that impressed me are the graphing calculators where it has a bigger screen and you can see the different shapes and measurement. Different brands offer this kind of calculator. Apart from Casio, Hewlett Packard and Texas Instruments are the best brands for these kind. If we could have just like this before when we were studying it will be much easier.

Engineering students will definitely love it! My brother can make a use of this one in the future when he starts studying college. He told me that he wants to be an engineer when he grows up. I hope so too...

My Cooking Achievements

Little by little I started to lear on how to really COOK. And I'm so ecstatic about it =)

Sooner I will try to experiment with meals but for now, I'll stick to the recipes that I found in the net.

Let see...here are the meals that I did in the past (about 2 months now) :

- Saute Bitter Gourd with Ground Pork and Egg (Hubby's All Time Favorite)
- Sweet and Sour Meatballs (I hit the right taste for the sauce but had a little problem with the meat...it's not fully cooked as I expected)
- Saute Mongo Sprouts with carrots
- Hotdog Casserole (which is very easy - thanks to Del Monte!)
- Pork Giniling (Hubby enjoys eating this)
- Chopsuey (Hubby wants to have a meat added to the vegetables instead of squid ball and kikiam...choosey!)
- Lastest addition is the Chicken Tinola (Chicken Ginger Stew) which is easy to cook (Hubby and I loved it and I got the taste right!)

Next week, I'm planning to cook Nilagang Baboy (Boiled Pork with Vegetables) since I love eating cabbage. I'm crossing my fingers for this one....

Happy Birthday Papa!

Today is St. John the Baptist feast day! Traditionally for us Filipinos, we always make it a point to celebrate this by hurling a bucket of water to everyone who pass by the streets or just plain making everyone wet (which is the sole purpose). After all, when we are baptized, water is present as to cleanse us and remove our original sin.

Apart from the feast, today is also Manila Day! Lucky for the students who go to school in Manila since there will be no classes for them (sigh! I miss being a student).

But most of all, today is my father's birthday! Too bad I can't see him but that's fine. I already gave him his birthday gift 2 weeks ago...hehehe. His already 58 years old and I'm joking about his age telling him that he only have to wait for 2 years and he will be a senior citizen.

My father and I are not that close but in some ways, his my ally especially when I'm having discussions with my mother. His the one who is more supportive last year when Hubby told him that we are getting married. I was actually thinking that time that he will object but to my surprise, he was cool about it.

Hopefully he can get rid of his smoking habit. His pretty stubborn in letting go of this vice...

Cheers to another year papa and more years to come!

Inflatables Galore

When we hear the word inflatables, it always come to our minds that it has something to do with summer and water. After all, we can see almost anywhere the different inflatables ready to hit the pools and the beach.

But apart from that inflatables can be seen in carnivals and kiddie parties as well. I saw in an entertainment website wherein a celebrity couple here in Manila organized a 7th kiddie party for their fraternal twins. The theme of the birthday was High School Musical so they made it like a carnival setup. They had the Inflatable Bounce, Inflatable Slide and the Inflatable Sticky Wall that was a hit among the kids and adults.

For Filipinos overseas especially the ones living in California, there's a company that provides inflatables for all ages. Check out their following branches:
Inflatable Party Rentals Sacramento, Inflatable Party Rentals San Diego and Inflatable Party Rentals Los Angeles. Apart from that, they also offer event planning services.

For sure, everyone will love and enjoy these inflatables! I was actually considering to have these inflatable for my future daughter or son's birthday

Photo Scavenger Hunt

Last Friday we had our weekly team meeting. At that time it was my turn to present an icebreaker game. Every week after our meeting, we always had a game to lighten up everybody and be energized...ahahaha!

I was having a tough time thinking on what kind of game I will organized but thanks to Google, I decided to chose the Photo Scavenger Hunt Game. After all, we love camera so might as well used it to the game and I'm sure my team mates will love this as well.

I divided the team into 2 groups with 3 members each. They will need a camera for each group and a list of scenes/things to hunt for. The ONLY RULE is that everyone has to be in each picture. Rotate photographers so everyone can participate. I've given them a time limit of 10 minutes to accomplish everything. It was really fun since they are running around the office taking pictures here and there.

Here are some of the shots taken:

Mimic a Statue

An Unusual Perspective (could be everyone's shoes, or the just top of their heads)

"I can't believe we all fit in here!"

All of them were tired during this game so I give them a treat for a job well done...

A dozen of Krispy Kreme doughnuts as our afternoon snack!

Stormy Sunday

For the past few days, we never tuned in to television and watched local and cable channels. We are having a DVD marathon and it takes up all of our time watching Hunter X Hunter anime...hehehe. I just finished it yesterday night at exactly 12 midnight. Thank goodness!

We are not aware that there was a storm over the weekend. I woke up at 5am on Sunday because I can hear the sound of the wind and the fact that our AC is not on. Hubby is still up playing DOTA on the laptop and I asked him if he turned off the AC. He then told me that it's brownout at that time. So I asked him to unplug the AC and the ref in case that the electricity will be back, we don't have to worry the power surge and the fact that our bill will increase.

I went back to sleep and get up at 8:30am. At that time, no sun is peeking and it continues to rain throughout the whole day. We just stayed adi ko t home yesterday. The good thing about it though is that we don't have to turn on the AC since the temperature is cold already. Hah! We got to save one day without using AC. I hope that we will not use AC tonight as well. I have to budget properly since I'll be the one covering our expenses next month.

It's a Rainy Thursday...

I'm a member of N@W yahoogroups for some time now. Before, I was an active member of W@Wie during my wedding preps. I'm very thankful for that group since all of the suppliers that I had in my wedding were through them. I'm sure that I will learn more with my current yahoogroup as well.

I decided to answer Ms. Benz (N@Wie moderator) thursday questions in my blog instead in the yahoogroups. It will be better to share it to others who are not a member Ü

The Qs are all about the RAINY SEASON...

1. Complete this sentence, "I love it when it rains because...."
~ I love it when it rains because there's a tendency that classes will be suspended (this is my thought when I was studying). Also, it means I will have a good sleep during rainy season. No humid and the air is cool.

2. My number one comfort food during rainy days is..
~ Lucky Me La Paz Batchoy

3. What is the worst typhoon event you can remember (year and/or typhoonname) and why?
~ I think it will be Milenyo where almost all the trees in Makato were uprooted. Same with some electricity posts. Good thing I decided not to report for work at that time (I have a graveyard shift back then).

4. Were you allowed to play in the rain when you were a child? What was the experience like? Would you allow your kids to play in the rain?
~ Nope. We are not allowed to play in the rain so I don't have any experience of it. I'm not sure if I allow my kids to play but that depends on the environment that we have by then.

5. Is there something you and hubby love to do together on a rainy day?(c'mon 'fess up.we're all adults here. We could use some R-18 posts once in awhile)
~ Watching DVDs and lots of cuddling...ahahahaha!

Imagine a World Without Filipinos

I got this email from an ex-colleague. This made me smile and think about all the traits that we have as a professional workers. One of the few things that we Filipinos can be proud of!

Celtics are the 2008 NBA Champs

I was not at work yesterday so I was not able to update my blog. I had a headache from thinking a lot of things (mostly is my hubby's issue). I decided to take a rest and just stayed at home.

I got to watched the NBA Game 6 though...hehehehe. Since it's Celtics homecourt, I already had a feeling that they are going to win and get the championship title. Let's say I'm in denial during the first half of the game, trying to convince myself that Lakers can beat them =P

1st Quarter - Lakers was leading courtesy of Kobe Bryant. Kobe managed to have three 3 pointers at that period.

2nd Quarter - this is a different scenario. Celtics managed to take the lead while Lakers trying to get close with the scores.

3rd Quarter - this is the breakout point of Celtics where they maintained to be on the lead while slowly pulling aawy from Lakers. If I'm not mistaken when 3rd quarter ended, Celtics had a 23 point lead.

4th Quarter - Celtics keeps on going stronger and gained a 40 point lead with Lakers! Yikes! Talk about trouble. I guess that the Lakers decided to give up the fight at this time since most of their shots will not count in the basket. Kobe Bryant loose his magic. Celtics on the other hand are starting to celebrate during the last 2 minutes.

Celtics play the game well and they are VERY GOOD. Their defense is excellent and most of the players contribute with the shots which is lacking on the Lakers team.

Apart from that, Celtics wanted the title badly since the last time they've won a championship was in 1986. So I guess that's the main reason they are driven and motivated to win.

CONGRATULATIONS TO CELTICS! YOU DESERVE IT! Ü

Coffee Break Ver 1.23

I've been so busy the past few days that I can't manage to do my hip hop abs routine. Sigh! I miss working out and sweating myself from exercise.

This coffee break is very timely for me! Everyone deserves a treat after working so hard...

How would you reward yourself after a long day at work?

I want my so-called reward to be "doing nothing at home". My Hubby will be doing almost all of the household chores while me will be watching cable or DVDs. That will be really nice for a change.

It's tough being a working woman and a wife and just having someone take care of everything at home for a change will be really awesome once I got home.

Lakers Avenge

I thought that Game 5 was yesterday (Sunday) but it was actually today at 9am. It's disappointing since I cannot watch it again. And for Game 6 or 7 I still cannot watch it.
The good news though is that Lakers manage to spaced itself from Celtics. On 4th quarter the scores were so close that any minutes and seconds counts especially for the Lakers since their rivalry team needs one more win to get the NBA championship.

Lakers were lead by Bryant, Gasol and Odom on this game (103) whereas Celtics were lead by Pierce, Allen and Garnett (98).

The only question now will be....

Can Lakers beat Celtics on Game 6 considering that they will be playing in Boston's home court? Will their be Game 7 or Celtics will finish it once and for all?

This will be VERY EXCITING!

Update on Movies

I was able to watch Kung Fu Panda last Saturday! I was with my college friends Florence and Beth. Good thing that they agreed to watch it with me since after our so-called "reunion" the others went home early.

I loved it! I was laughing all the way from the beginning till the end. One kid in our row was laughing so loudly. Obviously, he enjoyed the movie. Actually, all of us in the cinema did!

I was thinking of buying an original DVD of this film. My sister had an original DVD of the movie Cars which I also like.

Though I'm turning 28 in 2 months time, part of me is still a kid at heart especially if it's watching cartoons...hehehe. I still watch Dragon Ball Z every weekend on Channel 7

Next on the list is, Narnia 2 and Incredible Hulk. I decided to watch Sex and the City in DVD instead...

Beatitudes of Marriage

I was checking updates on my contacts in multiply when I saw this blog entry from my friend Jazzy. Since I'm married person and still adjusting to each other's behavior and flaws I asked her if I could snag this and post it here in my blog.

Let this be a reminder for all married couples...

BEATITUDES OF MARRIAGE
Author Unknown
Apr 24 2008

Blessed are the husband and wife who continue to be affectionate, considerate, and loving after the wedding bells have ceased ringing.

Blessed are the husband and wife who are as polite and courteous to one another as they are to their friends.

Blessed are they who love their mates more than any other person in the world, and who joyfully fulfill their marriage vow of a lifetime of fidelity and mutual helpfulness to one another.

Blessed are they who attain parenthood, for children are a heritage of the Lord.

Blessed are they who remember to thank God for their food before they partake of it, and who set apart some time each day for the reading of the Bible and for prayer.

Blessed are those mates who never speak loudly to one another, and who make their home a place "where seldom is heard a discouraging word."

Blessed are the husband and wife who faithfully attend the worship service of the church, and who work together in the church for the advancement of Christ's kingdom.

Blessed are the husband and wife who can work out the problems of adjustment without interference from relatives.

Blessed is the couple which has complete understanding about financial matters, and have worked out a perfect partnership, with all money under the control of both.

Blessed are the husband and wife who humbly dedicate their lives and their homes to Christ, and who practice the teachings of Christ in the home by being unselfish, loyal and loving.

My Movie(s) Line-up

I've been wanting to watch a movie this weekend. Hopefully I can manage to see any one of these:
Sex and the City - this will be a problem because my Hubby don't like to watch this. I asked him last week and he instantly says NO. Might as well ask my sister to watch this with me.

Kung Fu Panda - I love the trailer and I'm sure that I will get a good laugh from this. Kids and young at hearts will definitely love this. Again, hubby is not to keen in watching cartoons. His hesitant to watch this in cinema and keep on suggesting to watch this in DVD instead. What a party pooper!

Narnia (Prince Caspian) - Hah! I bet a 1 million pesos that this movie will surely pass the taste of my Hubby. I can ask him later if we can watch this on Sunday...hehehe.

Celtics Strikes Back

I was really hoping that Lakers will continue to be hot on the loose to tie up the championship series against Celtics but nope. Lady Luck is not on their side on Game 4.

Looking on the scoreboard on NBA's website I thought that Lakers will bag this game. They were leading during the first half. Then both teams are on the deadlock at 8:47 of 4th quarter. Suprise! Surprise! On the remaining minutes of the 4th quarter, Celtics managed to take the lead.

Both teams performed their best on this game since they showed unbelievable moves that you can't see in PBA (Hubby and I are not so keen in watching it anymore).

Let's check on each team's best shots:
LAKERS
- Pau Gasol's one hand dunk during the first half.
- Jordan Farmar's 3 point buzzer beater on 2nd quarter.
CELTICS
- Paul Pierce's twisting shot on 3rd quarter.
- Ray Allen's double-pump reverse layup on 4th quarter.

Through the efforts and team-ups of Pierce and Allen, Celtics ease its way to beat Lakers.

I just hope that Lakers will make a comeback too on Sunday morning (Manila time).

Coffee Break Ver 1.22

I thought that there will be no Coffee Break for this week. Good thing that Jan made it before the week ends. Thanks sis!

A month ago we celebrated Mother's day. This coming Sunday it's our Fathers turn to be acknowledge and pay tribute to.

I remember during my childhood that he never (not even once) spank on us or hurt us as a punishment. It always my mom who does the discipline thingy. He told us the reason he never laid any hand to beat us up is that the fact that we are girls and at that time his working abroad so we are not that much close to him. But regardless, my father and I have an okay relationship. Most of the time, he always takes my side if I'm having an argument with my mother (could it be because I look like him? hehehehe). His my ally aside from my grandmother...ahahahaha!

I was thinking of giving him any of these... a new shirt, a new pants or a cellphone (I can ask my sister to share the expenses with me for this..hehehe). Then a small merienda party. For others who have no ideas yet on what to give for their daddies and hubbies, I suggest....

What are your top 3 gift suggestions this Father's Day?

1. Things that they wish or wanting to have.

Independence

Indepence is defined as...
- freedom from control or influence of another or others.
- the creation of a new nation state which is self-governed rather than ruled by another country.

Today, the Philippines celebrate it's 110th Independence day. On the news earlier this morning, there are a lot of activities lined up to commemorate this day. Aside from Emilio Aguinaldo Shrine, policemen and some government officials are gathered in Monumento, Rizal Park, Pinaglabanan Shrine in San Juan and Baguio (to name a few) to celebrate this momentous occasion of our country.
Let's all hope that the independence that we have shall not be abuse by us. It was a long struggle of our forefathers and heroes to achieve it. It is a gift to treasure that we have to be grateful for.

Go Lakers!

Unlucky me. I was not at home where I can watch all the action from Staples Centre for NBA Finals Game 3. I just visit the NBA website for some update and news.

David Cook sung the US National Anthem. Maybe that did the trick since Lakers won this game!

Based from the scores that I saw online, it was a close fight between the two. It even came to a point that Celtics have a 5-point lead. Somewhere along the fourth quarter, they tied up the scores. Lakers eventually ease it's way to take the lead again and ends Game 3.

As they say in basketball, NEVER SAY DIE! Go Lakers! Show 'em what you're made of!

Can't watch Game 4 which will be on Friday morning (Manila time). Dang!

Saving on Online Shopping

It's a common thing for us to dash out the malls or boutiques when we find out that they're having a SALE. Anyone would be delighted for this piece of news since nowadays everything that is on the market has prices gone up. I myself love to shop when it's sale. It means that you can purchase stuff that you want (and like) at a discounted cost and you manage to stick to the budget.

Just like malls who offers discounts, online shopping does it too! I stumble upon a website that offer lots of discounts and freebies that any shopaholic would grab. They offer coupons ranging from Clothing down to Internet Services that varies percentage discounts. Apart from the fact that is very convenient and comfortable to shop with just a few clicks away, you don't have to wait for any SALES in the malls to buy that things you like. What's more, there's no need to register and no fee required.

Apart from that there are tons of $5 off and $10 off promotional code discounts for computers, electronics, software, DVD movies and music CDs for those who are into computers/
electronic gadgets and entertainment freak.

For pet lovers, they offer
10% discount for our furry friends for you and your'e pet to enjoy.

Totally fab! It's like having your own mall and sale at the same time

A Test

It's been 2 weeks and 2 days since my Hubby last reported for work. One of his colleagues keeps on texting him and asking him how's he doing or whatever happen to him. My stubborn husband never replied to his text messages. Nobody from his work knows exactly what's happening to him except me. They're probably all thinking that there's a problem with his kidney again.
I'm wil not be surprise if it comes to a point when he show up at his work and there's no job for him waiting. It's his fault that he didn't talk to anybody at his work about his ISSUES.

My mind is playing a lot of thoughts in my head on what to do. Obviously, I can't rely on hubby for any plans since it's obvious that he doesn't have any at the moment. It's up to me (I think) to find a solution and come up with a plan.

If this is a test of life, it sure is TOUGH. I'm praying for more patience and strength.

I don't want to fail...

Appliances Haven

One of the things I love most when we are moving into our own apartment is dressing it all up and buying our very own stuff for our nook!

I always got excited and motivated to look around the appliance center and home furniture for some things to buy for our place. After all it's still shopping right?

In the future I want to have our very own house. That will really be awesome! Though I'm not really an expert in cooking I can still whip up easy meals that my Hubby loves to eat. If I could have the classy and sturdy
Kitchen Appliances at our future home, I will be inspired to cook and invent some dishes everyday

Apart from the kitchen appliances, I would also love to have a reliable
Washing Machine so I don't have to avail the laundry service and I can stop washing some clothes manually everyday. Of course, a Dryer is needed especially when the rainy season comes and we all know that it's tough to dry clothes on wet season.

I'M DREAMING BIG NOW!

Inspired?

I just noticed that I have like 6 or 7 entries for today and it's not even 5pm yet...Ü

Let's just say that I have lots of things to blog about... Guess my mind is well rested after a 3-day weekend that's why it's active....ahahahaha!

Let's see if I have anything to blog tomorrow. Probably there's a few that I can think of...

Also, I realized that I haven't been to Brian Gorell's blog for like 2-3 weeks...I'm not aware of it until now when I'm busy typing away this entry. I wonder what's new on his blog...maybe I should browse after this...

Dinner Treat of Oieydie

Amidst the excitement of having some stars in our building last Friday, we manage to push through the dinner treat of my colleague and gay buddy Rod. After all, the treat is 2 weeks overdue.

As expected, Fridays are considered to be the "Gimikan" day here in Manila whether if it's payday or not. We have to wait for 30 minutes outside the Crocodile Grill in Greenbelt 3 Makati before we can have a proper seating place. While waiting, we are having chit-chats and capturing kodak moments...hehehe.

Rod's name finally called! Thank goodness, this means we can sit properly and we can eat! Yum!Yum! After all of us have been seated, food starts to fill our table...

Let's see if I can remember the menu that we have: Pansit Canton/Bihon, Pork Sisig (delisioso), Grilled Squid, BBQ Chicken, Rice, Oriental Soup (I think), Kare-Kare and Mixed Vegetables Curry. The dessert is ice cream (mine is strawberry).

Here's the whole gang while eating....

...and I wish to acknowledged the host of the dinner who paid all the bills...ahahahaha!

Muchas Gracias Rod (aka Oieydie)... till next time ;)
