Baby Bump Bandwagon

Gosh! Year 2007 and 2008 has full of surprises and this includes almost all the women I know getting pregnant. It makes me think that it's sort of like a trend and I'm like left behind...hehehe.

I have 3 friends who are expecting a baby this year. Two of them are their firstborn while the other will be her 2nd child. Last year, I also have 3 friends who had their babies. Again, two of them are their first babies while the other is her 2nd....Hmmm.. Most of my friends have their own baby(ies). Wala na akong makukuhang ninang sa kanila if it's my turn! Waaaaah!

Anyways, apart from my circle of friends, even in Hollywood a lot of the well-known actresses are mighty pride with their bulging bellies and still manage to stay blooming and alluring.

Sigh! I wish I could be like them once I have my own bump.

Halle Berry still looking sexy.

Jessica Alba staying fresh and pretty.

Cate Blanchett is a queen in her own right, don't you agree?

Nicole Kidman emphasizing her tummy.

Angeline Jolie showing off her belly for the second time around with Brad Pitt (so handsome even at his 40s).

Get SOAK this Summer

I'm excited for our summer outing on April. I'm still in the look-out for a swimsuit that will look flattering on me...hehehe. I'm not one of those women who are gifted with "busty" figure and I don't want to wear a swimsuit that is full of padding. I'm looking for a swimwear that will enhance my figure without being too obvious.

I stumbled on SOAK SWIMWEAR thru Shopcrazy website. The swimsuits and beach outfits they offer are so gorgeous and affordable. I was able to pick a few of my favorites but most of them are out of stock.

Better to check on them everyday and see for any new items. I think they have a batch of swimsuit that will be available in March. So, what are you waiting for?

How Bitchy Are You?

Snagged from Apol =D

I'm curious on how bitchy I can be and here is the result....

You Are 39% Bitchy

You're a pretty sweet person, and you're definitely not prone to bitchy outbursts.

Sometimes, though, you can't help thinking mean thoughts about people. But at least you don't act on them!

Guess it's not my popular trait at all...

How to Deal with a Cheater

Being cheated in my opinion, is the worst thing that I don't want to encounter and have to go through. I never experienced being cheated on and hopefully I won't have to (crossing my fingers).

Last Saturday night in Tyra Banks show they tackle the ways on how people handle betrayal. They've given four (4) common reactions of people on how they cope with cheaters:
1. Revenge
One of the guests which is a female opted to seek vendetta by sleeping with his bf's friend
2. Forgiveness
This is self-explanatory. You forgive the jerk and give him another chance. In short, kiss and make-up (I don't think I can do that. Once is enough for me).
3. Denial
One guest, won't believe that his bf is cheating on her until she saw them. I think her motto was "To See is to Believe"...hehehehe.
4. Break-ups
If you can't stand being cheated on and want to end the game, then this is the best option ever! Well for me, it is =)

Speed Test

Snagged this from Apol =)

61 words

Speed test

With the speed test you can test your typing speed. Of course you will not get an 100% accurate result, but at least a clue where you are. Try it again and again, and with time you will get faster, that is because, since the words that you need to type, are the most frequently used words of the english language. The faster you can type these words, the faster you will also type ordinary texts. After the evaluation you can include your results in your blog or whereever you want, so your friends can see how fast you type.

If you are not satisfied with your typing speed, then try it again from time to time. If you are not yet familiar with the touch typing system, you should learn it necessarily, you will be much faster, you no longer need to look on the keyboard and you can easily achieve a writing speed of 70 words per minute. In my opinion we will still use the keyboard in 20 years so it is worth the time you invest in learning this essential skill. And now you have no more excuses, follow the link and you can learn the touch typing system online and for free (don't worry, its the same website, no advertising shit or something like that):

Hectic but Happy Weekend

Yup! I was busy last weekend ...hooray!

Here is my itinerary for that whole weekend. It kept me busy and got me saved from boredom ville...hehehe.

Saturday morning - had a meeting with old friends in Greenbelt then in the afternoon I went to the gym for a workout. Headed straight home for hubby's post celebration eat feast!

Sunday afternoon - I went to visit my parents in Parañaque then off I went to MOA together with my younger siblings and cousins. Let's say I became a baby-sitter for that day! Ahahaha! But that's okay since they're not the annoying brats type. Come to think of it, I enjoyed playing in Timezone

Monday afternoon - hubby and I watched Vantage Point. We didn't get to buy something though since both of us are not in the mood. I'm not even sure why.
And now, it's Tuesday....time to snap back to reality

Hubby's Post Bday Celebration

As I mentioned on my previous blog entry, last Saturday afternoon hubby's aunt cook a few things for his post bday celebration.

Prior to the celebration, I have a meeting with a few friends in Greenbelt early morning. At 1pm, I was in MOA heading out to the gym for my dose of workout. Afterwards, I stopped by Red Ribbon for the cake. The I headed straight home.

Hubby have no idea that apart from the lunch treat in Sonya's Garden, I also bought him a cake and a white polo shirt as my add-on gifts (I'm the type of person who likes to give gifts...hehehe).

When he saw the cake and the polo shirt, he said to me "Andami mo namang pasalubong sakin". It felt good on my part when he said that. Honestly, my goal is for him to have a bday celebration which he never experienced before and I want him to feel that his special. I guess, I've accomplished it!

BELATED HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUBBY! Next year, I will do something different again...hehehe.

See You Around

This blog entry is solely dedicated to my newfound friend and hopefully will be a lifelong pal, CJ.

It's been 4 months since I started with MST. I can't help but be in awe for welcoming me with such warmth. Hard to believe that we've only known for each other for a short time but we have a lot of things in common or there are things that are both related to us that which we are not aware of.

The way we jive is like having you as a comrade for a long phase of my life (hehehe...lalim nun ah!). I will surely MISS YOU!

I wish you well and goodluck in your future endeavors (yikes! parang resignation letter...hehehe!). Let's not burn bridges (I know I won't!).

I will not say goodbye... instead let me say "See you around". I'm positive that we will get acquainted again. After all, we always say to each other "SMALL WORLD". And for both of us, indeed it was!

Anticipating and Wondering

Yup! That's what I'm feeling right now after all, weekend is just within my grasp! No work for 3 days... (sigh happily)!

Hmmm... tomorrow morning I will meet with my old friends and in the afternoon, there's a post celebration of hubby's birthday by his aunt. Afterwards, I'll probably starting to carry on my crosstitch project which is long overdue...hehehe.

I wonder, what will I be doing for the next 2 days??? Staying at home is my last resort but I don't want to engage on that idea. I missed my siblings and my grandmother.... but I'm not sure if hubby will give his consent for me to stay overnight in Cavite. The last time I asked his permission, he was hesitant. I gathered all my persuasion tactics and used it so he can let me go.

Argh! I don't want to be stuck again inside our room. It's pretty lonely and I'm getting bored as well. I'm not used to an environment which is so hush.

I need to come up with a plan for me this weekend. Hubby is a homebody which is opposite of me... I'd better start racking up my brain for ideas...

Workout

At long last! After my nonexistence in the gym for a week, I finally got to wind up yesterday

I missed sweating myself...hehehehe. I'm starting to worry that my muscles will get rusty as before. I don't want to come across bodyaches . Once is enough for me...hehehe.

I just hope that I will not be a sloppy individual again. Just thinking about it, I want to scold myself over and over for being so careless. Can't recall where I exactly last kept my Fitness First ID. I have no choice but to ask for a new ID which costs me PHP 400. Yeah! It's quite steep for an ID but I have no choice. Otherwise, I can't crash to the gym.

My moral lesson: To be finicky on important things. Right now, I'm keeping the ID in my wallet. Before, I always put it on the pocket of my bag. I'd better be cautious now. I don't want to spend another 400 for an ID. Twice is too much. Otherwise I have to wear that ID around my neck at all times

La Niña on Summer?

While preparing to go for work today, I was watching the news on TV. I heard both from the 2 local TV stations that the tail end of cold front will still be affecting Luzon. This means cloudy skies and scattered light rains on the coming days. Whereas, for Visayas and Bicol regions this may still trigger flashfloods and landslides.

According to PAG-ASA, they're expecting that this will end by March but it seems that will not be the case. Based on their recent forecast, this will continue till June. Sheeesh, climate nowadays are hard to predict. Blame it on the Global Warming.

Let's cross our fingers and hope that our "kababayans" in Visayas and Bicol will be safe and hopefully enjoy a rain-free summer. As of the latest, there are 10 people who died due to the landslides and flashfloods... Sigh! I think nature is giving us a lesson 101 in taking care of our environment. When will we ever learn???

My First Attempt on Digital Scrapbooking

Since last year when I'm busy preparing for our wedding, I'm fascinated on how everything is possible using Adobe Photoshop.
Inspired, I even made a "Save The Date" magnets for our wedding (Background c/o Shutterstock). I played around with the colors (hue adjustments) so I can achieve our color motiff.

I even consider on taking a short course as well for Adobe Photoshop...hehehe.

Then, I was introduced to Digital Scrapbooking. I've read a lot of infos about it thru former W@Wie members (most of them are now N@Wies). I subscribed as a member to some digital scrapbooking sites so I could have a free kits that I can used in the future.

My very first attempt of digital scrapbooking was last Valentines Day. I made one for my officemate and here is the output...

I used the GIMP software (which I download from the net) since I don't have an Adobe Photoshop disc with me to install in my workstation. It has the same features of Adobe and for me, it's much easier to use than Photoshop. I'm still exploring the other functions of each tools on this software but let me tell you,

Digital Scrapbooking is addictive...hehehehe. I'm starting to be an addict =)

Still on the Dreamland

I'm still in the "Dreamland" up to this point.... Sigh! How I wish that I could stay longer in Tagaytay yesterday but I can't afford to be on leave for a long period of time. Why?

1. I'm not yet a regular employee. If I will take a leave it will be "LEAVE W/O PAY" which hurts badly on my pocket.
2. No budget yet for long vacations....hehehe.
3. I have to convince hubby in taking vacations (yeah, you could say that his the party pooper between the two of us). If we have to plan vacations, it should be plan ahead of time.

I'm still not in the mood to work.... I told my officemates that I left my brain in Tagaytay yesterday and I have to go back there and get it...Ahahaha! Come to think of it, I've been diligently present at work w/o lates for almost 4 straight months! Wow! Yesterday was the 1st time I took a leave after our wedding last October.

How I wish that the month of April is here... so I could be a regular employee and entitled to have valid leaves...hehehe. And of course, it's summer time! First Summer Destination is Puerto Galera with my colleagues here in the office :)

My Surprise to Hubby

As I promised on my previous blog entry, here is my surprise treat to hubby since we didn't celebrate Valentines Day and his bday is just around the corner :)

Yesterday we went to Sonya's Garden for a lunch treat for two. It's our first time to be here so I'm so excited to see the place.

We arrived at Sonyas at 1:30pm (blame it on hubby for being in a slow-mo mode). I'm amazed to see that there are a lot of guests (mostly foreigners) considering it's a weekday.

The lunch servings that we had are good enough for 3 persons. We were not able to devour all the garden salad and pasta. My tummy is full already and there's no enough space left....hehehe. Lunch served is Php 610 per head. It's worth every pesos, guaranteed!

Hubby thanked me and keep on saying that he loves me (for the surprise) =)

He asked me how did I found out about the place. I told him that there are a lot of good reviews on the net and I want to go here since 2005 so I made a plan for us to experienced the place.

I SO LOVE IT! I told hubby that I don't want to come back to Manila and rather stayed there and pamper myself with their spa services...hahahaha! I should've booked for an overnight stay instead... We spent 3 hours going to Sonyas from QC and vice versa. Our time is very limited so no spa services for us. I promised to myself though that I will definitely come back here.

(Photos taken using my SE W800i)
Hmm... I should invest in a digi cam soon :)

Biggest Heart Award

I'm back from my leave yesterday! Thanks to ISSA and JOEY for giving me this award :)

What a comeback treat :)
I'm still not in the mode to work...hehehe.
I'm passing this on to MEC, Thet, Avee, Anna, Sheryll and Joy. Spread some loving girls! :)

Let's Talk About S3X

I apologize if I can't complete the word s**. Our IT here in the office restricted opening sites that has the S word. If we open one, it will automatically close.

Back to the topic. I should've blog this last week but there are things going on my mind that I forgot to write this. As the saying goes, it's better to be late than never :)

Two weeks ago, on Saturday night I was watching the Tyra Banks Show (Yep! I'm fond of watching her show...hehehe). Their special and only guest was
Sue Johanson, a Canadian writer, public speaker, registered nurse, s** educator and media personality.

There are a lot of questions from females and males alike in which I learned a lot. Since here in our country we are brought up in a conservative way, there are times that we are shy to discuss this topic among our friends and families. But there are a lot of things we should know and be aware of especially if it concerns our reproductive health and being safe.

It's really interesting because she covers every field about S**. Most of the guests that are on the show are not yet married so you can just imagine their questions that even surprises Sue (Yeah! There are some weird questions she encountered on the show). One example is that a girl asked if they could use OIL as lubricant (not sure what type of oil it was). Sue advised that it's better to use lubricants that are available in the pharmacy or used saliva. Using other liquids can irritate the genital parts. I forgot the other weird questions but most of them has something to do with the s**xual intercourse.

For me, it's an educational topic. We should not be ashamed to know and asked. After all, having knowledge doesn't hurt. It's only how you practice that knowledge that it becomes bad.

I just hope and pray that when it's my time to have kids, I can explain to them clearly all about this stuff. Just thinking about it made me wish that they will be forever young Ü

My Dream

On my previous post, I blogged about hubby's dream. Well, unlucky for him that my dream is a far-cry from his...hehehe.

If I'm not mistaken it was Friday night when I dreamed of MOI having a good time in Boracay! Unfortunately in my dream, hubby was not around. I'm not sure why. Anyways, all I can remember is that I was in Station 2 in a restaurant. I can see the vast ocean colored bluegreen... what a sweet and relaxing moment it was!

I have a 100% feeling that my anticipation to go to the Travel Fair in SMX last weekend triggers my subconsciousness and made me dreamed of Boracay...ahahaha! It's ashamed that I was not able to go to the fair. I really feel bad just thinking about it.

Good thing that hubby is not into blogging. He will be disappointed if he reads this.

The Bachelorette and OV Watch

Last Saturday I was watching the Tyra Banks Show and their topic is about women having a hard time to conceive.

One of their guest is Trista Rehn who is also known as "The Bachelorette". She married Ryan Sutter last December 6, 2003 whom she selected in the show.

Everyone of us might have thought that their life is a fairytale but that was not the case. They are having difficult time to have a baby. Trista had gone through fertility consultations and she even shared a gadget that she used. They call it the OV Watch which is a short term for Ovulation Watch. As Trista narrated she would wear the watch at night and it tells you the next morning if your fertile or ovulating. Finally, after all the efforts made by the two of them Maxwell was born last July 26, 2007. Among many others who have used the OV watch, Trista is one credible and known personality who shares her success story using the OV Watch. Guests on that show's episode got to bring home their very own OV watch.

Isn't it cool?! This is perfect for those who want to conceive and for those who wants to do the natural birth control. No need to stick your finger and check the mucus or count the days in the calendar for the safe and unsafe days....hehehe.

I wonder if anyone in the Philippines has this watch?

My Five Variable Love Profile

Got this from Blogthings :)

In celebration of Valentine's Day, find out how are you with the Five Variables of Love.

Would like to pass this on to Apol, Thet, Anna, Jovie, Sweetpea, Renz, Kathycot, Lisa, Issa, Thea and Jane.
ENJOY GIRLS!

Your Five Variable Love Profile

Propensity for Monogamy:

Your propensity for monogamy is medium.
In general, you prefer to have only one love interest.
But it's hard for you to stay devoted for too long!
There's too much eye candy to keep you from wandering.

Experience Level:

Your experience level is high.
You've loved, lost, and loved again.
You have had a wide range of love experiences.
And when the real thing comes along, you know it!

Dominance:

Your dominance is medium.
You tend to be the one with more power.
You aren't a total control freak in relationships..
But of course you don't mind getting you way!

Cynicism:

Your cynicism is medium.
You'd like to believe in true and everlasting love...
But you've definitely been burned enough to know better.
You're still an optimist, but you also are a realist.

Independence:

Your independence is medium.
In relationships, you need both "me time" and "we time."
You usually find it easy to be part of a couple.
But occasionally you start to feel a little smothered.

The Winner of Amazing Race Asia 2 are....

Too bad I was not able to watch this since we don't have AXN channel at home. But according to my female friend, Marc and Rovilson didn't win the Amazing Race Asia 2.....SO SAD. I was hoping that they could bag this last pitstop. After all, they managed to be the first placer in 8 out of the 11 pitstops.

The lucky winners for this race are Collin and Adrian of Singapore. Most of the time they always come in 2nd place but they managed to win the last pitstop.

Vanessa and Pamela came in 2nd place while Marc and Rovilson was the last team to arrive. Who would've thought that they will be the 3rd on the last pitstop? You can never really tell what lies ahead.

In a good way, Marc and Rovilson will take home a lot of prizes from being the 1st placer on the 8 pitstops and they have a long media exposure in whole Asia...hehehehe.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ADRIAN & COLLIN!

After Valentine's Day...

Another day has passed and everything is back to normal here at the office...hehehe. No more messengers delivering flowers, chocolates or gifts. No suprised officemates. NA-UH!

Yesterday was a different story. Two of my officemates received flowers from their bfs. One received a stuff pug dog from her bf as well. The rest of us (including me) didn't receive anything...hehehe.

One of my officemate brought chocolates and distribute it to our team (we are 13 here). How thoughtful and sweet! Someone is kind enough to share her blessings..hehehe.

Outside our office, you could see messengers carrying bouquet of flowers or stuffed animals to be delivered. I find it amusing when I see them.

On my part, I just greeted everyone a Happy Hearts Day including my hubby. We really don't celebrate Valentines day. It's just like a regular day. Nothing special. So it means, I have nothing to share concerning Valentines Day....hehehehe.

And today, it's just another day. The aura of yesterday has gone. But I'm looking forward for this day (than Hearts Day) to come since it's payday! Hahahaha! And of course, weekend is just around the corner. Also, I'm just 4 days away for my surprise to hubby...

To all who celebrated Valentines day, hope you had a lovely & memorable one and let's remember LOVING each other EVERYDAY and make it special.

Boombastic Award

Thanks Thea, Apol and Anna for this award!
Unfortunately, I cannot used the word s**y here since our IT at the office created restrictions of opening sites that has the S word. The browser will automaticall close if we tried to open one. So I have to used a different term for this award.

Getting this award makes me feel like Marisa Miller (The front cover model of Sports Illustrated magazine).
This is way better than my hubby greeting me a Happy Valentines Day

I'm passing this award to Jan, Jane and Nancy.
