1,107 Island Cruise

I was watching last night Mel & Joey because I was waiting their featured story about the first Philippine Luxury Cruise Ship! Ü

Tha name of the cruise is 1,107 Islands which perfectly describes the Philippines as an archipelago. It can accomodate 350 passengers with 120 cruise staffs. They have twin-bed rooms, triple bed and even quadruple beds for families. They even had a suite room which is perfect for honeymooners or couples. The cruise ship can also be rented for company outings and team buildings which they can enjoy to the max.

For starters, the itinerary islands that the cruise will be visiting are Aklan, Romblon, Marinduque, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro and Palawan (that's the islands that I can remember; not sure if I missed one or two).

According to the GM of the cruise whom they interviewed, the cruise ship will be on each island for 2 days before hopping to another one. The price is PHP 5.5k per person (includes 3 meals for the whole day) and I'm not sure if it's per night or per island trip (sorry for missing the important details).

This is a good way in promoting tourism in our country. Sooner or later, there will be more islands to visit in this first-ever Philippine Cruise! SAKAY NA!
