Coffee Break Ver. 1.8

For this week's Coffee Break c/o Jan, it's all about our MOTHERS.

Mother If I could give you diamonds
for each tear you cried for me
if I could five you sapphires
for each truth you've helped me see
If I could give you rubies
for the heartache that you've known
If I could give you pearls
for the wisdom that you've shown
Then you'll have a treasure, mother
that would mount up to the skies
That would almost match the sparkle
in your kind and loving eyes
But I have no pearls, no diamonds,
As I'm sure you're well aware
So I'll give you gifts more precious
My devotion, love and care.

In celebration of the upcoming, Mother's Day (May 11) let's all...

Recall the most treasured conversation you had with your mother.

Honestly, I can't think of any. We don't have a serious heart-to-heart talk conversations the past months. All of our conversaytions, revolved on catching up on what's happening with our lives.

However, the thing that I can remember was prior to my wedding day, my mother talked to my aunt whose working overseas and she told her that she hoped that Randiej will help me with the household chores after we get married since I'm not used to all of them (actually I don't know how to cook but the other chores, I can handle it). At that time, we are in cold treatment with each other but it melt my heart just hearing it from my aunt. I bet that I will cry if I will hear that straightly from my mother but at that point, that was not the case.

Still, it felt good to know that she loves me despite of all that we've been through before my wedding. I will be forever grateful for giving me life =)
