Yesterday night as soon as I got home from the gym, my hubby was playing his brother's PSP. His been on leave for 3 weeks now and I asked him if he was able to set an appointment with his Urologist so he can give him a doctor's certificate because he needed it once he return to work. Otherwise, his SLs will not be credited.
Just as I thought, he didn't call the doctor's clinic. Sheesh! So I joked and told him that he shouldn't bother going to the doctor. In fact, he shouldn't go there at all and he shouldn't return to work. I'm being sarcastic again obviously. These are one of the few flaws of my Hubby. He tends to get lazy like a grade school who doesn't want to go to school.
Naturally, Hubby didn't said anything. He knows that I'm annoyed at him. Then out of the blue, he blurted out "Mag-abroad na tayo. Ayaw ko na ng work ko. Mahirap at nakakapagod". I'm surprised because between the two of us, his not that enthusiastic in working abroad. Hmmmm...a sudden change of heart.
So I told him that I'm going to search online, specifically in SG for jobs that might fit his experience. He told me that he doesn't like working in a port/pier. I explained to him that I'm not sure if some companies in SG will still considered his past experience which is an automotive parts designer. Some of the tools he used back then are Solidworks, Autocad, etc.
I might as well and check if there's any opening related to his past job experience.
Plan #1 - Browse the internet and other SG job sites for a job opportunity for me and hubby. Perhaps I should hit PinoySG first.
