Coffee Break Ver. 1.7

In Wikipedia, FAMILY is defined as a group of people affiliated by consanguinity, affinity, and co-residence.

In
Encarta, it is the basic social group united through bonds of kinship or marriage, present in all societies.

Regardless of the technical definitions of FAMILY, surely for us Filipinos it is the most precious thing that we hold dearly to our hearts. We are so family-oriented that most of us had extended families living in one roof.

In embracing our family, for this week's coffee break...

Share with everyone the fondest memory you have of you and your family.

For me, it will be our wedding day where all the immediate family members of me and Randiej as well as our relatives are present. It's a memorable and touching moment for me since prior to our wedding day, my mother was not too happy to know that I'm getting married (she had other plans for me back then) thus she told us that she will not attend to our big day.

Come our wedding day, she was there in the church and reception. It would've been better if she was the one who walked me down the aisle together with my father but she was stubborn and insist that my Lola will take her place.

Regardless, I still appreciate the fact that she's there to take part in our celebration.

Alls well that ends well.
