And here is the final part of our wedding story...
Upon our arrival sa Oasis, not all of the guests are there. Yung time is around 11am na. Diretso muna kami sa bridal suite of our venue tapos si Jum Pimentel (team ni Queen) asked the waiter of Hizons to get us iced tea and nachos. Pampalipas uhaw at gutom na rin. Tapos si Amy na assistant ni Eddie, she retouch yung make-up ko. Siguro 5 mins lang kami nag-stay dun sa bridal suite then we need to go down for our bridal entrance.
Yung back-up photog namin na si Ami decided to take few more shots while waiting for our grand entrance. They want to make sure na di kami late for the grand entrance. So picture galore kami ulit kahit mainit...hehehe. After mga 5-10 mins, it's time for us to make our grand entrance sa reception.
On our way sa Pavillion, pinayungan kami ni Jun (well taken care kami Ü). Tapos he asked the waiter of Hizons to give us water.
When it's our time to march, napansin ko na not all of the tables are occupied. Siguro may 2 vacant tables dun. Kahit ganun pa man, we are both happy kasi our families were there and some of my closest friends :)
Super smile kami nung entrance namin. Puro bungisngis ata ginawa ko kasi when I looked the pics taken by Ami, puro ako nakatawa..hehehe. When we reached our table, Mallory which is our emcee called the MOH (my sister) to lead the prayer. Pero before sya magsalita nung prayer, the singer of Sound Treasure sang a few lines from The Prayer. Di pa dw kami pwede umupo then she asked us how we are feeling today. Sabi ni hubby "fine" tapos ako naman "great". Parang di kami masaya nung sinagot namin yun...ahahaha! Wala naman kasi kami masabi. We proceed with our cake cutting (matamis ang icing nung cake...hehe) , the wine toasting (masarap sya, hinahanap nga namin ni hubby kung anong wine ang sinerve nun) and dove release which we did inside the Pavillion.
After that , lunch time na. While the rests of our guests are eating, dun na pinakita yung Photo AVP namin which shows childhood pics and pics while we were growing up.
After the AVP, proceed na sa wine toasting. Wine Toasting was done by the Bestman which is brother ni hubby (their bunso). Nakakatawa nga kasi halata na tense sya at di prepared kasi nga he told my hubby before na ayaw nya mag wine toasting. E binigay ng coordinator namin yung speech nya so no choice sya...hehehe. Mostly nagkwento lng sya tungkol sa kanila when they were growing up and ang addiction ni hubby sa paglaro ng kung ano-anong games sa PC. In our bf-gf relationship, ang lagi kong pinagseselosan e yung PC nya at ang PS2 nya dahil di ka na nya papansinin pag nahawakan na nya ang mga yun. Right now, nag-adjust sya with his habits. Di na sya ganun kababad unlike before.
After the wine toasting, meron kaming married couples game wherein there will be 3 pairs of married couple who will be asked a series of question to check how well they know each other. Nakakatawa kasi you will see the expression of the couples na nag-iisip mabuti kung ano yung right answer. First pair was my hubby's older brother and his wife; 2nd pair is my supervisor and his wife and the last pair happens to be my colleagues. The funny about it is that they are not married to each other. We were laughing kasi nga di naman talaga sila mag-asawa and ang answers nila di pareho. As in zero ang nakuha nila. Yung older brother naman ni hubby and the wife is 4 out of 5.Yung supervisor ko at wife nya ang nanalo. If I'm not mistaken, perfect score sila.
After the married couple game, speech na ng mga friends and parents namin. One of my dear friend made a speech. Unfortunately, yung friends ni Randy e di nakapunta and most of them are working abroad. Yung aunt nya ang nag-speech in behalf of his parents. ..hehehehe.
After the speeches, next is the bouquet toss game. Ang game ko is the Signature Game wherein all the single ladies shoud scout for signatures coming from males. Regardless if the male are single or married. .mautak!
Next is the garter game. I chose the Singled-out game wherein the guys will be asked a different question wherein they have to chose. Yung bouquet winner is naka-blindfold. For example Mallory asked the guys, "Blue or Pink". Blue please stay on the left and those who chose Pink stay on the right. Tapos the host will asked the lady kung ano preferred nya. For example, pink. So lahat ng nasa Pink will be asked to stay. The winner of the garter game is yung guy na kasali sa Married Couple Game na hindi talaga married :) Yung friend ko na girl happens to know the guy since all of us were working at the same company before.
After that, it's time for my hubby to get the garter from me. Mallory asked him to be 20 steps away from where I was sitting. Akala ko Mallory will asked him to crawl papunta sakin. Ang pinagawa nya is for my hubby to dance. Even his relatives were laughing kasi di pa nila nakita sumayaw si hubby. Habang sumasayaw si hubby papunta sakin, I was laughing and then I covered my eyes. Baka lalo lang ako mamula sa kakatawa. When I took off the handkerchief sa mata ko, nasa tapat ko na si hubby and he will get the garter. Lokong iyon, bumawi.
After he took the garter, it's my friend's turn. Ang gimmick na ginawa ni Mallory is the bachelorette will be blindfolded. Then yung bachelor na winner will be asked to put the garter in knee level only. After that nireplace ko si bachelor at ako ang nagsuot kay bachelorette ng garter up to mid thigh. Syempre, hindi alam ng friend ko na ako ang gumagawa so talagang mega palag sya sa upuan nung tinataas ko si garter...It was really fun. Then after we removed the blindfold from her, she was relieved to see me....hehehe.
After the game, it's time for our Father-Daughter dance. Then next is our First Dance. I forgot the name of the song kasi when we were dancing nagkkwentuhan lang kami ng Father ko at ni Hubby.
Then after ng dance, pinakita muna sa guests yung Onsite Video namin courtesy of Fol Rana. All our guests loved the video. Sabi nila pang-mayaman dw...hehehe. Little did they know na mura ko lang sya nakuha thru bidding.
It's our time to give our speech.
Then it's my time to do the speech. Some of our guests cried especially those na nakakaalam ng situation ko at ng mother ko. On the latter part of my speech I cried. Since April of 2007, me and my mom are not in speaking terms kasi my mom doesn't want me to get married yet. Gusto nya muna mag-abroad ako for 2 years and help with our family. Unfortunately, si hubby ayaw nya ako mag-abroad dahil sa mga nangyayari sa relationship after one has left the country. Natatakot sya na baka di kami magkatuluyan. ..hehehehe.
I was expecting na di talaga sya pupunta sa kasal. Nung Oct. 26, my sister went to MOA and she texted me to buy clothes for my mother na pwede nyang isuot for our wedding. Sabi nya na it's up to my mom kung pupunta sya or hinde basta yung mga damit, shoes at accessories na binili ng sis ko eh naka-ready na.
Miracle talaga because my mother went to the church and sa reception. Di nga lang sya sumama sa hotel. That's when I proved that my mother loves me and di nya kaya na matiis ako. Everything is okay now. I still help with my family and visit them every Sunday. I still lived to my promise na I will shoulder the schooling of my younger brother. I'm happy that ok na kami ng mama ko and of course I have no regrets in marrying the man I truly love na super bait at malambing (kesa sakin)...hehehe.
Hope you enjoy the story. It's pretty long since it's very detailed.
Well, this is just a start of my journey with my hubby. I'm sure that there will be a lot of stories to tell in the coming years Ü
